Great American Barn Tours utilizes existing livestock barns and exhibit buildings at the fair or event facility. We coordinate with management and livestock show participants as well as other agricultural exhibits to provide an educational and organized tour.
Great American Barn Tours establishes a starting point that consists of a bright red and white tent as well as beautiful, informative and professional signage. As we walk and talk tour participants through the livestock areas, we also provide them with the option to participate in our interactive, Agriculture in Action stations.|
 |
• Tours are every 30 to 40 minutes and last for 20 to 30 minutes depending on the size and variety in the livestock and agricultural areas. We customize the tour schedule to meet the needs of the fair or livestock show.
• The number of tour guides required is based on fair attendance. We average two to six tour guides per fair.
• We encourage the tour participants to ask questions and interact. This participation can affect the length of the tour.
• Tours can accommodate from 50 to 60 people. |

Great American Barn Tours is famous for working with school groups. We have been in the animal education business for 28 years! With tours specially designed for each grade level, we inspire students to understand and appreciate how agriculture affects their everyday lives.

Extremely knowledgeable guides, with a splash of fun, are outfitted in bright, easy to follow, professional uniforms topped with funny animal hats. Each tour is packed with fun, fascinating facts and hands-on experiences.
We use state of the art sound equipment and provide printed material so folks can follow along with us.
Great American Barn Tours guides will discuss each and every animal in your livestock area, covering topics such as animal terminology, gestation, gender-specific behavior, life span and purpose. They will communicate the industry’s intrinsic appreciation for animals and agriculture, and they will explore the many uses of livestock in all aspects of our lives, from the food on our tables to the paint on our walls.
The staff of Great American Barn Tours will use their talent for presentation and love of animals to inspire fairgoers with a new sense of appreciation for the livestock industry, leaving them wanting to come back for more!
